Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Abar in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, OLYMPIACOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Etxahun to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th match minute, Aserradero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Artal to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Cayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Poncio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Ismael Poncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Normando, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 21st match minute, Aserradero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Eriz to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Andres Mateo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. OLYMPIACOS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aserradero FC the free kick. After 25 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Mateo. 27 minutes into the game, Santos Lazcano lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Ismael Poncio. Aserradero FC's Ismael Poncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Normando in the 31st minute of play. If Elpidio Brais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of OLYMPIACOS FC booed when Aserradero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Eriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Lazcano got free with Ismael Poncio in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Estebe came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. OLYMPIACOS FC's Haroldo Etxahun got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ismael Poncio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabe Normando in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute Elpidio Brais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Poncio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Etxahun kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Aserradero FC's Jonathan Peyo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santos Lazcano to make the kick off. When Melquiades Estebe came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Aserradero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Estebe couldn't finish the play. Andres Mateo hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Artal in the 55th minute of play. Ismael Poncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Lazcano in the 57th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florencio Jacob during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to OLYMPIACOS FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Florencio Jacob hit a great ball. OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Delmar Abar 59 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Aserradero FC's Delmar Abar got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Lazcano in the 70th minute of play forced Aserradero FC's goalkeeper Ismael Poncio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casemiro Joinvilense in the 72nd minute of play forced OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Chayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Poncio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Aldo Eriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Aserradero FC's Humberto Joachim got a free kick in the 78th minute. Ovidio Oto made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Melquiades Estebe sent off a good shot on target. Bernabe Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ismael Poncio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Poncio having to interfere. OLYMPIACOS FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Melquiades Estebe scored to the left of an out of position Ovidio Oto, making the score, 1-3. The OLYMPIACOS FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Aserradero FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Aserradero FC.
