Jorge Harriet kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Horquilla AFC's goalkeeper Blas Senen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fidel Silvino. Blas Senen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Aballe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reynaldo Quinten to strike the kick off in the second half. Horquilla AFC's Daniel Juvenal got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in El fortinero's zone, Daniel Juvenal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ubaldo Beltran came out of the goal and Daniel Juvenal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El fortinero were furious when Desiderio Perfecto was red carded, 82 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, El fortinero's Desiderio Perfecto got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Jorge Harriet, 83 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Daniel Juvenal lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Ubaldo Beltran. El fortinero's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
