Spectators: 7420 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 124) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaston Flores kicked off to start the match. Gaston Flores did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Guido Milan 8 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Flores in the 12th minute of play forced Club Gimnasia y Tiro's goalkeeper Guido Milan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Milan was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Hilario Bembe capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hilario Bembe really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Gaston Flores received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guido Milan came out and tried to block the shot, but Gaston Flores slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 22nd minute. Gaston Flores in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guido Milan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Guido Milan was a little too slow when Hilario Bembe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 4-0. After 31 minutes, Gaston Flores made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Gimnasia y Tiro's Guido Milan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Club Gimnasia y Tiro's zone, Hilario Bembe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Milan came out of the goal and Hilario Bembe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Gimnasia y Tiro's Guido Milan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Club Gimnasia y Tiro from getting a goal against them. Gaston Flores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Domingo Nalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Brown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingo Nalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Gimnasia y Tiro's zone, Gaston Flores stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Flores in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guido Milan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melchor Lixandro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gaston Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Gimnasia y Tiro's Guido Milan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Flores in the 53rd minute of play. Gaston Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Milan having to interfere. After having played for 59 minutes, Alfredo Asur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Brown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Asur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Gimnasia y Tiro's Melchor Lixandro got a free kick in the 60th minute. Guido Milan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Bembe in the 61st minute of play. After 62 minutes, Melchor Lixandro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Gimnasia y Tiro and the Club Atlético Brown players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Gimnasia y Tiro's Melchor Lixandro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilario Bembe in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guido Milan saved Club Gimnasia y Tiro from getting behind. 64 minutes into the game, Damaso Mónos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Brown's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Gimnasia y Tiro the free kick. The Club Atlético Brown fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Club Atlético Brown's Gaston Flores looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hilario Bembe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Guido Milan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damaso Mónos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Milan having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Gaston Flores put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guido Milan. Guido Milan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Flores in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85th minute Hilario Bembe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Milan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Gimnasia y Tiro defense, Hilario Bembe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Milan. The Club Gimnasia y Tiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Milan should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Club Gimnasia y Tiro's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Flores came free, but Guido Milan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Milan came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Brown's Gaston Flores. But to his dismay, Gaston Flores quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Guido Milan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Flores's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. There was no doubt that Club Atlético Brown were the better team. Club Atlético Brown's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
