After 2 minutes, Hilario Bembe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Brown and the Carlo Ancelotti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice moves Efrain Etor could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Gualterio Tavio however easily saved by the left post. In the 14thth minute of the game Gaston Flores who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carlo Ancelotti's Tomás Gonsalvo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romulo Solustiano's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Brown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romulo Solustiano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Romulo Solustiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 20 minutes, Efrain Etor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carlo Ancelotti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Etor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Romulo Solustiano put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gualterio Tavio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Etor got free with Gualterio Tavio in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gualterio Tavio made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Romulo Solustiano sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Efrain Etor made a precise shot to the right of Gualterio Tavio. Club Atlético Brown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Gualterio Tavio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Etor, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Romulo Solustiano succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. In the 40th minute Romulo Solustiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomás Gonsalvo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Asur in the 42nd minute of play. Romulo Solustiano struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Gualterio Tavio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carlo Ancelotti. A collision led to Club Atlético Brown getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Lino Baumer hit a great ball. In the 45th minute, Romulo Solustiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 60th minute, Dante Gentza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Etor in the 67th minute of play forced Club Atlético Brown's goalkeeper Gualterio Tavio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Gaston Flores put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tomás Gonsalvo. When Alfredo Asur came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Club Atlético Brown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Asur couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Gaston Flores left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Brown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After having played for 91 minutes, Romulo Solustiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carlo Ancelotti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Solustiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gualterio Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Solustiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atlético Brown players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carlo Ancelotti.
