Club Atlético Talleres's Casimiro Edwardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Flores in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 played minutes Club Atlético Brown got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Mónos. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Jokin got free with Gualterio Tavio in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alfredo Asur hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Gualterio Tavio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Jokin in the 7th minute. Fermin Mikolas hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Hugo Jokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Tavio having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Gaston Flores left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Brown fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hugo Jokin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casimiro Edwardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Flores in the 20th minute of the match. Hilario Bembe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casimiro Edwardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. When Gaston Flores came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Club Atlético Brown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Flores couldn't finish the play. Gualterio Tavio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Jokin in the 28th minute. Gualterio Tavio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fermin Mikolas's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Hugo Jokin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Tavio having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaston Flores to make the kick off. Domingo Nalo hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Brown's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Jokin came free, but Gualterio Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Hugo Jokin made a precise shot to the right of Gualterio Tavio. Club Atlético Brown's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Hugo Jokin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Flores's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Casimiro Edwardo firmly grabbed it by the left post.
