Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Melchor Lixandro started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Tala AFC booed when Club Gimnasia y Tiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Iban didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3 minutes into the game, Bruno Crispo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Gimnasia y Tiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tala AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Gimnasia y Tiro's Bruno Crispo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the game, Jonas Calixto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tala AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Gimnasia y Tiro the free kick. After 7 played minutes Tala AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Calixto. Bruno Crispo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Angelino Frances lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Guido Milan. After 16 played minutes Tala AFC got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Arnalt. With a little luck, Club Gimnasia y Tiro's Guido Milan got control of the ball when Angelino Frances tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelino Frances was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Tala AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 30 minutes, Angelino Frances made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Gimnasia y Tiro's Guido Milan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelino Frances's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Guido Milan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fausto Paublo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Guido Milan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Tala AFC's Alejo Vitin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Angelino Frances who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Guido Milan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Tala AFC's Guido Milan threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fausto Paublo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelino Frances made a kick off. Guido Milan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Frances's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Club Gimnasia y Tiro's zone, Angelino Frances stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Milan came out of the goal and Angelino Frances tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the game, Tala AFC's Angelino Frances nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guido Milan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 65 minutes into the match, Angelino Frances had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guido Milan. Club Gimnasia y Tiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelino Frances was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When Fausto Paublo came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Tala AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Paublo couldn't finish the play. Pablo Playo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Jonathan Sauveur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Gimnasia y Tiro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Frances in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guido Milan saved Club Gimnasia y Tiro from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelino Frances in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guido Milan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fausto Paublo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Guido Milan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelino Frances took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guido Milan. Guido Milan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 88thth minute of the game Angelino Frances who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Gimnasia y Tiro's Guido Milan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melchor Lixandro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th match minute, Tala AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Arnalt to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Calixto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Fausto Paublo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tala AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tala AFC fully deserved thier win.
