Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) Melchor Lixandro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Club Gimnasia y Tiro's zone, Román Riquelme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Milan came out of the goal and Román Riquelme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Gallardeta F.C. booed when Club Gimnasia y Tiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Baleren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Gallardeta F.C.'s Román Riquelme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guido Milan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 7 minutes, Román Riquelme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallardeta F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Román Riquelme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Honesto succeeded in the game's 11th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After some careless play in the Club Gimnasia y Tiro defense, Danilo Honesto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Milan. The Club Gimnasia y Tiro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Milan should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Honesto in the 18th minute of play forced Club Gimnasia y Tiro's goalkeeper Guido Milan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Milan came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Gallardeta F.C.'s Desiderio Servando. But to his dismay, Desiderio Servando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Buster Bourton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guido Milan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido Milan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Román Riquelme in the 29th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Gallardeta F.C.'s Danilo Honesto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guido Milan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 0-6 became the score in the 37th minute when Danilo Honesto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, Gallardeta F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Maidana to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Honesto in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guido Milan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Club Gimnasia y Tiro's goal looked a bit too open when Buster Bourton came free, but Guido Milan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gallardeta F.C.'s Danilo Honesto got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Gallardeta F.C. were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Honesto to strike the kick off in the second half. Marc Patrick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Guido Milan made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Danilo Honesto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gallardeta F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. Angel Ariando hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Club Gimnasia y Tiro's goalkeeper Guido Milan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Sotero. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danilo Honesto got free with Guido Milan in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Danilo Honesto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Milan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. Marc Patrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Guido Milan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Honesto took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guido Milan. Guido Milan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. If Danilo Honesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Román Riquelme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Milan having to interfere. A collision led to Club Gimnasia y Tiro getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Bruno Crispo hit a great ball. Román Riquelme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Milan having to interfere. Guido Milan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danilo Honesto went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the game, one of Club Gimnasia y Tiro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Guido Milan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buster Bourton, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. When the match was over Gallardeta F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Gimnasia y Tiro throughout the match.
