In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Brown's goalkeeper Gualterio Tavio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfredo Asur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Inguma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Román Riquelme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gallardeta F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Román Riquelme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danilo Honesto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gualterio Tavio came out and tried to block the shot, but Danilo Honesto slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 27th minute. Gualterio Tavio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Román Riquelme in the 37th minute of the match. When Celso Maidana fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gallardeta F.C.'s protests and gave Celso Maidana a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gallardeta F.C. getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. With his leg Arnoldo Inguma managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Club Atlético Brown's Gaston Flores fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee ended the match the Gallardeta F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
