Marcos Ekain yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Eduardo Distiratsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club.Atl.Circulo Italiano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Gold the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club.Atl.Circulo Italiano's Eduardo Distiratsu got a free kick in the 12th minute. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Arturo Pompilio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Marcos Ekain to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bartlomiej Lichniak in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Ekain saved Club.Atl.Circulo Italiano from getting behind. Marcos Ekain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartlomiej Lichniak in the 45th minute of the match. Club.Atl.Circulo Italiano's Marcos Ekain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartlomiej Lichniak in the 47th minute of play. After taking down the ball on River Gold's corner Timoteo Jerrold fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcos Ekain quite easily take care of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Orlando Millano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Arturo Pompilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 54th minute, Marcelino Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the game, Arturo Pompilio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Marcos Ekain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bartlomiej Lichniak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marcos Ekain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arturo Pompilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bartlomiej Lichniak might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Ekain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bartlomiej Lichniak ran back to his position shaking his head. When River Gold's Arturo Pompilio in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Marcos Ekain made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Di Persio in the 73rd minute of play forced Club.Atl.Circulo Italiano's goalkeeper Marcos Ekain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club.Atl.Circulo Italiano's Clemente Magdaleno got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Arturo Pompilio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Ekain. Club.Atl.Circulo Italiano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Pompilio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Pompilio in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Ekain saved Club.Atl.Circulo Italiano from getting behind. Marcos Ekain came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by River Gold's Arturo Pompilio. But to his dismay, Arturo Pompilio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 90th minute, Bartlomiej Lichniak made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Ekain. Club.Atl.Circulo Italiano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Arturo Pompilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Marcos Ekain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. River Gold fully deserved thier win.
