In the 10th minute of the match Honorato Efren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denis Che skillfully saved the ball. San Vicente Fútbol Club's Denis Che proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save San Vicente Fútbol Club from getting a goal against them. Anselmo Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Galindo in the 17th minute of the match. Carlos Oriche took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anselmo Nevada. After the first half San Vicente Fútbol Club were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Noe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 played minutes Epifanio Tab rounded La Hormiga Atómica's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. San Vicente Fútbol Club's Denis Che played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Noe in the 62nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Epifanio Tab got free with Anselmo Nevada in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Feliciano Calvet charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Calvet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Hormiga Atómica's Feliciano Calvet got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Carlos Oriche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Hormiga Atómica's Anselmo Nevada was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd match minute, La Hormiga Atómica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Noe to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Adolfo Oroitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Teo Kiliz hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Feliciano Calvet was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 94th minute Blas Noe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Che saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over San Vicente Fútbol Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Hormiga Atómica throughout the match.
