The referee ignored La Hormiga Atómica's protests and gave Ernesto Garoa a yellow card for diving instead. Ernesto Garoa kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 48th minute, Blas Noe made a precise shot to the right of Härmo Eit. GALLARDETA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henri Eenmäe to make the kick off.
