They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With an all-out effort, Alberdi de América's Denis Che threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ivica Olić, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Denis Che came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Alberdi de América's Severiano Jurdan. But to his dismay, Severiano Jurdan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alberdi de América had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
