Pawel Sierocki's late challenge caught a chunganito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pawel Sierocki helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Fecha Libre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pawel Sierocki to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Haritzeder scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Guillerme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Cordareo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Galo in the 14th minute of play. Fecha Libre's Laureano Jon got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Moises Napier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Cordareo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Jon in the 25th minute of play. Aurelio Galo struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Jose Cordareo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fecha Libre. Jose Cordareo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Jon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Cordareo came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Fecha Libre's Laureano Jon. But to his dismay, Laureano Jon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcial Teodor during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcial Teodor hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Laureano Jon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jose Cordareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Jon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Cordareo having to interfere. Aurelio Galo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Cordareo having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The supporters of chunganito booed when Fecha Libre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Teodor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Jon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Jose Cordareo made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Aurelio Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fecha Libre's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurelio Galo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Cordareo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 played minutes Fecha Libre got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Sierocki. When chunganito's Edgard Haritzeder in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fecha Libre's goalie prevented a goal. Teodoro Guillerme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Haritzeder's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. After 76 minutes, Mateo Anaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fecha Libre and the chunganito players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fecha Libre getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Mateo Anaya hit a great ball. In the 77th match minute, Fecha Libre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Anaya to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Fecha Libre's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Haritzeder came free, but Teodoro Guillerme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fecha Libre's Teodoro Guillerme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benito Florinio in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Fecha Libre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Teodor to maneuver through the defense. Marcial Teodor hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Edgard Haritzeder took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Guillerme. Teodoro Guillerme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Pawel Sierocki hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Teodoro Guillerme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgard Haritzeder's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
