The supporters of Manus booed when Fecha Libre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Jon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Raúl Quintanilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miroslav Radisavljević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Jon in the 13th minute of the match. Aurelio Galo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Miroslav Radisavljević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Gabriel Ciceron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fecha Libre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manus the free kick. 20 minutes into the match, Manus's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Jon came free, but Miroslav Radisavljević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fecha Libre's Teodoro Guillerme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Fecha Libre from getting a goal against them. Miroslav Radisavljević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Galo in the 26th minute of play. Fecha Libre's Laureano Jon got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 played minutes, Fecha Libre's Rigoberto Arixo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miroslav Radisavljević came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fecha Libre reached it. Miroslav Radisavljević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Jon, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Teodoro Guillerme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Dimas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 38th minute Laureano Jon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslav Radisavljević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, Fecha Libre's Laureano Jon made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miroslav Radisavljević was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laureano Jon made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Dimas in the 53rd minute of play forced Fecha Libre's goalkeeper Teodoro Guillerme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Galo during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teodoro Guillerme came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Manus's Xiao Yue Ting. But to his dismay, Xiao Yue Ting quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Fecha Libre's Silverio Ado got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 78th minute, Andres Romo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudencio Gregory missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 80 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Teodoro Guillerme right hand side. In the 90th match minute, Manus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Dimas to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in Manus fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Fecha Libre. Erasmo Cai stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Miroslav Radisavljević. 1-2. Teodoro Guillerme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Quintanilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute Laureano Jon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslav Radisavljević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Fecha Libre were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Manus side.
