Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ya Veran's Fulgencio Dolcet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Hibai in the 6th minute of play. Ladislao Hibai took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fulgencio Dolcet. Fulgencio Dolcet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Nueva Lepra FC's Eloy Dominic in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ya Veran's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute Eloy Dominic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Dolcet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Dolcet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloy Dominic's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Ya Veran's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Hibai came free, but Fulgencio Dolcet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eloy Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fulgencio Dolcet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Dominic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolás De la Cruz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonardo Tancredo. That made the score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. In the 36th minute Nicolás De la Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Tancredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nueva Lepra FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcos Emeterio was slow to take the kick. During this time Ya Veran's players had a chance to rest. Nicolás De la Cruz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 40th minute Anibal Mouricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Tancredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Dolcet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Hibai in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Hibai in the 44th minute of play forced Ya Veran's goalkeeper Fulgencio Dolcet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolás De la Cruz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonardo Tancredo. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Hibai to make the kick off. The supporters of Ya Veran booed when Nueva Lepra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Orlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute Ladislao Hibai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Dolcet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes Ya Veran got a freekick which was hit by Otto Mæland. When Ladislao Hibai came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Nueva Lepra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislao Hibai couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Nueva Lepra FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolás De la Cruz came free, but Leonardo Tancredo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Dolcet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Dominic in the 75th minute of the match. Leonardo Tancredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osmar da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 minutes, Eloy Dominic made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ya Veran's Fulgencio Dolcet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ya Veran's Nils Svensson was substituted for Froilan Rey. Nueva Lepra FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jorge Martino in the 86th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Eloy Dominic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fulgencio Dolcet. Ya Veran's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloy Dominic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4.
