Costin Onaca started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Gianino getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Patricio Abeijon hit a great ball. Ivan Casomiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Errapel in the 6th minute of the match. In the 6thth minute of the game Isaac Errapel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slakun FC's Ivan Casomiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edgardo Arotza struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ivan Casomiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gianino. After having played for 10 minutes, Edgardo Arotza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gianino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Arotza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Edgardo Arotza came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Gianino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Arotza couldn't finish the play. Teobaldo Ibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Pablo Marz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Slakun FC booed when Gianino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Arotza didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Costin Onaca came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Slakun FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costin Onaca couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Slakun FC defense, Patricio Abeijon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Casomiro. The Slakun FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Casomiro should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Slakun FC's zone, Edgardo Arotza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Casomiro came out of the goal and Edgardo Arotza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 played minutes Gianino got a freekick which was hit by Siro Kaiet. Costin Onaca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Pablo Marz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th minute Edgardo Arotza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Casomiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Slakun FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Gaston Seguinus hit a great ball. Ivan Casomiro came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Gianino's Edgardo Arotza. But to his dismay, Edgardo Arotza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Slakun FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gianino were winning 0-2.

53 minutes into the match, Slakun FC's goalkeeper Ivan Casomiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgardo Arotza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Ibar in the 56th minute of play forced Gianino's goalkeeper Pablo Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slakun FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Celso Banegas in the 58th minute. Slakun FC's Ivan Casomiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Slakun FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Gianino booed when Slakun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Lawrence didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Arotza in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Casomiro saved Slakun FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Onaca in the 75th minute of play forced Gianino's goalkeeper Pablo Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Marz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Onaca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gianino's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Celso Banegas was slow to take the kick. During this time Slakun FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 84th minute, Costin Onaca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 played minutes Gianino got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Celipe. Slakun FC's Gaston Seguinus got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Gaston Seguinus off the ground. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gianino walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
