After some careless play in the San basilio city defense, Osmar da Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Domingos Bernal. The San basilio city fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Domingos Bernal should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Cordero in the 63rd minute of play forced Ya Veran's goalkeeper Fulgencio Dolcet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingos Bernal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domingos Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Mouricio, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ya Veran's Nils Svensson was substituted for Froilan Rey. Romeo Uhin's late challenge caught a Ya Veran's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Uhin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, San basilio city was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Uhin to maneuver through the defense. Domingos Bernal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anibal Mouricio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 87 minute of play. Osmar da Rocha scored 1-5 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingos Bernal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ya Veran walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
