Ricardo Jakobe came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Gianino's Edgardo Arotza. But to his dismay, Edgardo Arotza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gianino's Pablo Marz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Jayvier in the 13th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Iztal during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CART FC's Ramiro Iztal got a free kick in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Arotza in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Jakobe saved CART FC from getting behind. Isaac Errapel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ricardo Jakobe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Edgardo Arotza made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. CART FC's Ricardo Jakobe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Arotza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Jakobe was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the match, Gianino's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Jayvier came free, but Pablo Marz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Paublo charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ricardo Jakobe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Arotza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgardo Arotza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Bernardo Jayvier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Marz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gianino booed when CART FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Iztal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Pere got free with Pablo Marz in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ricardo Jakobe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Behe, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Gianino's Edgardo Arotza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Jakobe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgardo Arotza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Jakobe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Edgardo Arotza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gianino's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Arotza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Jakobe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gianino fans cheered their team off the field, for while CART FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
