After 38 played minutes Blitzkrieg FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Ascencio. In the 41st minute Enzo Clodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Sabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Desiderio Gonzalez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blitzkrieg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Gonzalez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erubiel Refugio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Alvarez in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adan Alvarez was the one to do the kick off. If Pascual Rey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the C.A. OnceLeones L.P. defense, Desiderio Gonzalez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erubiel Refugio. The C.A. OnceLeones L.P. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erubiel Refugio should have stopped the shot. Pascual Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Blitzkrieg FC's Mauricio Cruz got a free kick in the 80th minute. Pascual Rey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saul Idacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. OnceLeones L.P.'s Erubiel Refugio got control of the ball when Adan Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to C.A. OnceLeones L.P. getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Victor Jaunti hit a great ball. The Blitzkrieg FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Blitzkrieg FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
