Esteve Su could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Lorenzo Valente made a huge save. In the 4thth minute of the game Flavio Papetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but harpersFC's Lorenzo Valente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 5 minutes into the match, harpersFC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Papetti came free, but Lorenzo Valente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Leon Isidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. harpersFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Isidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Pacifico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flavio Papetti was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. River Plate's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 11th match minute, harpersFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Celino to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Papetti got free with Lorenzo Valente in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Chorche to maneuver through the defense. Lisandro Jerardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Valente made a huge save. The supporters of River Plate booed when harpersFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Celino didn't get a good kick on the ball. River Plate's Flavio Papetti got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruperto Quintyn during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Alaba shot from long distance in the 23rd minute, but Lorenzo Valente was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 30 minutes into the match, harpersFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Valente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lisandro Jerardo. In the 31st match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Su to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Valente was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Flavio Papetti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Flavio Papetti really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Lisandro Jerardo took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenzo Valente. Lorenzo Valente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to harpersFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Martin Jayvier hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haroldo Jurgi to make the kick off. Haroldo Jurgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenzo Valente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Jerardo in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Jerardo in the 55th minute of play forced harpersFC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Everardo Ostargi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lorenzo Valente was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Luisito Pacifico was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Haroldo Jurgi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Haroldo Jurgi really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Lorenzo Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Papetti in the 70th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Esteve Su got a free kick in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Papetti in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lorenzo Valente saved harpersFC from getting behind. Flavio Papetti took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenzo Valente. Lorenzo Valente dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 85 minutes into the match, Everardo Ostargi notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of harpersFC's Lorenzo Valente. Lorenzo Valente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd minute, Lisandro Jerardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. When the referee ended the match the River Plate players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
