The Mervaleta FC fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Mervaleta FC's Justino Erruki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Justino Erruki did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Filomeno Tomi 11 minutes into the match. Timoteo Mantzio's late challenge caught a Mervaleta FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Timoteo Mantzio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Cordoba Athletic FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Mantzio to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute of the match Teobaldo Ponce shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filomeno Tomi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Filomeno Tomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Erruki in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Erruki in the 25th minute of play forced Cordoba Athletic FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Tomi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26th play minutes Justino Erruki shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Filomeno Tomi and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justino Erruki in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filomeno Tomi saved Cordoba Athletic FC from getting behind. A hard shot 32 in the game by Dario Quexal from a close distance when the talented Filomeno Tomi managed to make a qualified save. Cordoba Athletic FC's players were relieved. Justino Erruki had several of the Cordoba Athletic FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Filomeno Tomi as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 40th minute, Mervaleta FC's Epifanio Javiero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Filomeno Tomi. Filomeno Tomi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Epifanio Javiero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceferino Tabor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Justino Erruki made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cordoba Athletic FC's Filomeno Tomi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the match, Justino Erruki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filomeno Tomi. Cordoba Athletic FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justino Erruki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. After some careless play in the Cordoba Athletic FC defense, Dario Quexal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filomeno Tomi. The Cordoba Athletic FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filomeno Tomi should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Justino Erruki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filomeno Tomi was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justino Erruki in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Tomi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Justino Erruki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mervaleta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. A collision led to Cordoba Athletic FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Timoteo Mantzio hit a great ball. Filomeno Tomi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Erruki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Tomi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dario Quexal went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. Filomeno Tomi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tano Sampler, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After having played for 89 minutes, Epifanio Javiero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mervaleta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Javiero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filomeno Tomi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Erruki, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Filomeno Tomi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justino Erruki went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Mervaleta FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
