The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Osoro got free with Bruno Etxahun in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 11 minutes into the match, Albino Osoro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mogote FC's Bruno Etxahun. Bruno Etxahun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bruno Etxahun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Osoro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Albino Osoro put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bruno Etxahun. Ramon Piarres who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Bruno Etxahun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Bruno Etxahun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Santiago Lorien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Bemabe in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albino Osoro made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Simon Loramendi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Bruno Etxahun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bruno Etxahun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Osoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Harriet's late challenge caught a Mogote FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Harriet helped the player get up and apologised. Camilo Harriet kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Mogote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Florian came free, but Bruno Etxahun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Bemabe kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, A S Y A™'s Isaias Florian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Etxahun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. In the 66th minute, Isaias Florian had to leave the field with a concussion. In the 67th match minute, Mogote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Ospetsu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Loramendi in the 71st minute of play forced Mogote FC's goalkeeper Bruno Etxahun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mogote FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Loramendi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-3. Mogote FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
