Cirilo Balesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Javiero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Santo Herensuge fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mervaleta FC's protests and gave Santo Herensuge a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th minute, one of Mervaleta FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mervaleta FC. The goalkeeper, Leo Nesto, was totally fooled by Villa Libre FC's Natalio Phelipe, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Jonatan Rosario hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Villa Libre FC's Jonatan Rosario got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Justino Erruki made a precise shot to the right of Cirilo Balesio. Villa Libre FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cirilo Balesio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Erruki, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Cirilo Balesio came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Mervaleta FC's Epifanio Javiero. But to his dismay, Epifanio Javiero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Mervaleta FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Mervaleta FC's Justino Erruki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Villa Libre FC's Martin Urko got a free kick in the 38th minute. After 40 minutes of play, Mervaleta FC's Justino Erruki made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cirilo Balesio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Villa Libre FC booed when Mervaleta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Ortzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cirilo Balesio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justino Erruki went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-7 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Justino Erruki made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Erruki got free with Cirilo Balesio in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Mervaleta FC's Justino Erruki dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. Cirilo Balesio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mervaleta FC's Justino Erruki shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-9 in the ordered_time% minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Erruki got free with Cirilo Balesio in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Froilan Darien hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Dario Quexal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Balesio having to interfere. Cirilo Balesio came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mervaleta FC's Justino Erruki. But to his dismay, Justino Erruki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-11. A collision led to Mervaleta FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Epifanio Javiero hit a great ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mervaleta FC's goalkeeper Leo Nesto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, Mervaleta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Ponce to maneuver through the defense. Dario Quexal came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cirilo Balesio could save by the left post. 90 minutes into the match, Epifanio Javiero notched a goal, 1-12, to the right of Villa Libre FC's Cirilo Balesio. Cirilo Balesio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cirilo Balesio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Epifanio Javiero's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Justino Erruki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cirilo Balesio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-13. When the final whistle sounded Mervaleta FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Villa Libre FC.
