Filomeno Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Tavares in the 33rd minute of play. If Benigno Sotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. Wesley Tavares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Filomeno Tomi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Lukasz Sokol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Filomeno Tomi, 0-7. Filomeno Tomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Tavares in the 91st minute of the match. Filomeno Tomi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukasz Sokol went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Sarmiento junin left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cordoba Athletic FC.
