Filomeno Tomi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andres Bemabe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 53 minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Cordoba Athletic FC's goalkeeper Filomeno Tomi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerardo Azubeli. The referee gave Gerardo Azubeli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 73 played minutes Cordoba Athletic FC got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Tabor. Mogote FC's Marcial Tiadoro got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mogote FC's zone, Ceferino Tabor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Etxahun came out of the goal and Ceferino Tabor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the game, Cordoba Athletic FC's Ceferino Tabor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Etxahun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 94th minute, Marcelino Ignado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Etxahun was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Many of Mogote FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mogote FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Cordoba Athletic FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
