After a defensive mix-up in Villa Libre FC's zone, Gerardo Azubeli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cirilo Balesio came out of the goal and Gerardo Azubeli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 6 minutes, Froilan Darien mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villa Libre FC and the Mogote FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mogote FC booed when Villa Libre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Darien didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Jonatan Rosario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa Libre FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Rosario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuno Santos made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jose Macias immediately put the ball in play. In the 22nd minute, Jonatan Rosario fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bruno Etxahun, passed just outside the right post. Vicente Mergildo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Cirilo Balesio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mogote FC. Jose Macias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Etxahun having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mogote FC's goalkeeper Bruno Etxahun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Rosario in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Etxahun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mogote FC's Bruno Etxahun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Mogote FC from getting a goal against them. 42 minutes into the game, Jonatan Rosario recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Etxahun. Jonatan Rosario showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Bemabe made a kick off. Andres Bemabe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Balesio having to interfere. Jonatan Rosario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Villa Libre FC's Jose Macias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruno Etxahun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Rosario in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Etxahun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jose Macias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Bemabe got free with Cirilo Balesio in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andres Bemabe succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Bruno Etxahun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Macias, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Jose Macias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jose Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mogote FC booed when Villa Libre FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Macias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Placido Ospetsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mogote FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Libre FC the free kick. Placido Ospetsu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute of the match Froilan Darien shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruno Etxahun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
