When Conrado Botello fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarmiento junin's protests and gave Conrado Botello a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Conrado Botello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wesley Tavares in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Etxahun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Lukasz Sokol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Etxahun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wesley Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Etxahun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Conrado Gabon hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Mogote FC's Andres Bemabe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Feliciano Salamon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Mogote FC's Cristobal Geleberto got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Bruno Etxahun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wesley Tavares went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mogote FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Bruno Etxahun had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Wilfredo Leoiar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bruno Etxahun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Leoiar in the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mogote FC's zone, Wesley Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Etxahun came out of the goal and Wesley Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Sarmiento junin's Feliciano Salamon got control of the ball when Andres Bemabe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento junin's Claudinei Almeida got a free kick in the 36th minute. Bruno Etxahun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Wesley Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Etxahun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Melquiades Jakobe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Bemabe was the one to do the kick off. Sarmiento junin's Feliciano Salamon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Bemabe in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Lukasz Sokol recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Etxahun. Lukasz Sokol showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Ceferino Ioritz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Placido Ospetsu kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wesley Tavares in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Etxahun saved Mogote FC from getting behind. Lukasz Sokol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruno Etxahun having to make a save. Sarmiento junin's Wesley Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Wesley Tavares took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Bruno Etxahun to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Ioritz got free with Bruno Etxahun in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute Lukasz Sokol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Etxahun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sarmiento junin getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Wilfredo Leoiar hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Mogote FC defense, Lukasz Sokol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Etxahun. The Mogote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Etxahun should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Mogote FC's Bruno Etxahun got control of the ball when Ceferino Ioritz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 92 minutes Mogote FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anibal Confesor who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Wilfredo Leoiar heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 94 minutes into the match, Andres Bemabe notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Sarmiento junin's Feliciano Salamon. Feliciano Salamon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sarmiento junin's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
