Paulino Gomez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Hilario Eskuin made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Pastor Hustaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cotagaita's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Hustaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Eskuin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulino Gomez scored 2-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilario Eskuin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 46 minutes, Jaime Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adrei Manu Sheotze CSD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Abel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Edgardo Caradaro came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Adrei Manu Sheotze CSD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Caradaro couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
