The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Eustaquio Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saguión's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muhammet Balkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, Saguión's Eustaquio Franco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Muhammet Balkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivan Filipo took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muhammet Balkan. Muhammet Balkan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, Saguión's Artemio Kismi got control of the ball when Jo Beerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artemio Kismi came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Berazategui's Felix Perrando. But to his dismay, Felix Perrando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Saguión's Claudio Eneto got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Eustaquio Franco came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Saguión fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Franco couldn't finish the play. Pedro Bortzaioriz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Berazategui's goalkeeper Muhammet Balkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claudio Eneto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Muhammet Balkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muhammet Balkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Franco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Jo Beerman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berazategui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When Saguión's Eustaquio Franco, in the 44th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Saguión. If Arif Cengiz Onurad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Saguión booed when Berazategui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Fernanco didn't get a good kick on the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustaquio Franco made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Berazategui! Muhammet Balkan came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Saguión's Tymoteusz Mnich. But to his dismay, Tymoteusz Mnich quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Ivan Filipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Ermegildo Berdaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 60 minutes, Ivan Filipo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saguión's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Filipo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Filipo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Muhammet Balkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saguión. Artemio Kismi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Perrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Tymoteusz Mnich was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saguión's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berazategui the free kick. 78 minutes into the match, Jo Beerman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artemio Kismi. Saguión's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jo Beerman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Artemio Kismi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Perrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Muhammet Balkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Filipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Filipo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Muhammet Balkan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Muhammet Balkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Franco in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Arif Cengiz Onurad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Filipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Saguión's Tymoteusz Mnich shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Muhammet Balkan but with some difficulty. 97 minutes into the match, Ivan Filipo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Muhammet Balkan, 3-3.
