Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Eneto ran back to his position shaking his head. A nice corner shot did that Ivan Filipo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabio Evangelista quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 13th minute, Ivan Filipo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Cristian Bastian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artemio Kismi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Urbano Llanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 31 played minutes Deseado AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Esdras. With a little luck, Deseado AFC's Fabio Evangelista got control of the ball when Eustaquio Franco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ivan Filipo struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Eustaquio Franco took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Fabio Evangelista to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustaquio Franco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabio Evangelista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Franco in the 52nd minute of the match. Fabio Evangelista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Dantae in the 73rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Franco in the 75th minute of play forced Deseado AFC's goalkeeper Fabio Evangelista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eleuterio Dantae came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Saguión fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Dantae couldn't finish the play.
