Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Carlos Tebaldo kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Algarrobitos defense, Gaudencio Bermudez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto Txurio. The Algarrobitos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto Txurio should have stopped the shot. Alonzo Pes might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Nastasio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alonzo Pes ran back to his position shaking his head. Mauricio FC's Isaac Nastasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Ramone in the 10th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Isaac Nastasio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Herminio Abeijon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, one of Mauricio FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Mauricio FC's zone, Gaspar Ederono stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Nastasio came out of the goal and Gaspar Ederono tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alonzo Pes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Isaac Nastasio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mauricio FC's Isaias Eneko got a free kick in the 20th minute. Isaias Eneko kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Mauricio FC's goalkeeper Isaac Nastasio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Pes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Ramone in the 24th minute of play forced Mauricio FC's goalkeeper Isaac Nastasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Txurio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melchor Pelayo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Melchor Pelayo put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alberto Txurio. Melchor Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Esteban Lano came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Mauricio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Lano couldn't finish the play. Gaspar Ederono charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Ederono the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 39 played minutes Algarrobitos got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Ederono. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Melchor Pelayo made the kick off in the second half. Algarrobitos's Alberto Txurio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Algarrobitos from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Pelayo in the 56th minute of play forced Algarrobitos's goalkeeper Alberto Txurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Mauricio FC's Isaias Eneko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Txurio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Tebaldo in the 60th minute of play forced Mauricio FC's goalkeeper Isaac Nastasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Esteban Lano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mauricio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Lano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Txurio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Algarrobitos's goalkeeper Alberto Txurio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Melchor Pelayo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Guib in the 64th minute of play forced Mauricio FC's goalkeeper Isaac Nastasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Nastasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Tebaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Javier Natal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Melchor Pelayo managed to get in a good position for a shot.
