An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Quilo in the 9th minute of play forced Los Cardales's goalkeeper Severiano Banegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severiano Banegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torgny Fernström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remigio Guilabertus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Xosé Galaiko made a huge save. With a little luck, ZEUQRAM FC's Xosé Galaiko got control of the ball when Isidoro Orlondon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Los Cardales's Elias Bento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xosé Galaiko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Severiano Banegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torgny Fernström, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. ZEUQRAM FC's Xosé Galaiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Guilabertus in the 31st minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Los Cardales's Remigio Guilabertus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 47th minute Remigio Guilabertus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xosé Galaiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Canor scored 3-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xosé Galaiko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Bento to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in ZEUQRAM FC's zone, Remigio Guilabertus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xosé Galaiko came out of the goal and Remigio Guilabertus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th match minute, ZEUQRAM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Fernström to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute of the match Albino Canor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xosé Galaiko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Remigio Guilabertus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xosé Galaiko having to make a save. In the 64th minute, Isidoro Orlondon made a precise shot to the right of Xosé Galaiko. ZEUQRAM FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When Isidoro Orlondon fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Cardales's protests and gave Isidoro Orlondon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Los Cardales getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Isidoro Orlondon hit a great ball. Fulgencio Quilo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severiano Banegas came out and tried to block the shot, but Fulgencio Quilo slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 73rd minute. Xosé Galaiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Orlondon in the 84th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, ZEUQRAM FC's Fulgencio Quilo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-3. With a little luck, Los Cardales's Severiano Banegas got control of the ball when Torgny Fernström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torgny Fernströms short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Severiano Banegas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Cardales fans cheered their team off the field, for while ZEUQRAM FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
