Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Gonzalo Cordaro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some careless play in the ★★JUARENSE FC.★★ defense, Gonzalo Cordaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rubinho Vasconcelos. The ★★JUARENSE FC.★★ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rubinho Vasconcelos should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Hugo Checa put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rubinho Vasconcelos. The Iguarán FC fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Iguarán FC's Gonzalo Cordaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Cordaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubinho Vasconcelos was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Rubinho Vasconcelos came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Iguarán FC's Gonzalo Cordaro. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Cordaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 30 minutes into the game, Aquilino Ceandro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ★★JUARENSE FC.★★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iguarán FC the free kick. In the 29th minute, one of ★★JUARENSE FC.★★:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ★★JUARENSE FC.★★. Rubinho Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guaberto Paez, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, ★★JUARENSE FC.★★'s Arsenio Vistruario got a free kick in the 39th minute. Arnaldo Tallia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santo Hermon hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Checa in the 45th minute of play forced ★★JUARENSE FC.★★'s goalkeeper Rubinho Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Cordaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubinho Vasconcelos was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Damian Reguer's late challenge caught a Iguarán FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Reguer helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half Iguarán FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santo Hermon made a kick off. If Hugo Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Checa in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rubinho Vasconcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rubinho Vasconcelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Checa went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Hugo Checa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubinho Vasconcelos was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the game, Nunez Gartzea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ★★JUARENSE FC.★★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iguarán FC the free kick. In the 67th match minute, ★★JUARENSE FC.★★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Gartzea to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match, Hugo Checa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rubinho Vasconcelos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of Iguarán FC booed when ★★JUARENSE FC.★★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rubinho Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Checa, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute, Gonzalo Cordaro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubinho Vasconcelos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The audience was convinced that Gonzalo Cordaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rubinho Vasconcelos was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Gonzalo Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ★★JUARENSE FC.★★'s Rubinho Vasconcelos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save ★★JUARENSE FC.★★ from getting a goal against them. Jimeno Monico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Hermon in the 93rd minute of the match. Iguarán FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
