The Iguarán FC fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Iguarán FC's Gonzalo Cordaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Checa in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Urbasa saved Yacuchina from getting behind. Jimeno Monico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Tohias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Frederico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Monico having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Gonzalo Cordaro put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Aristides Urbasa. Yacuchina's Aristides Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Cordaro in the 32nd minute of play. Iguarán FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
