Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) 3 minutes into the game, Everardo Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iowa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bragado Club the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Everardo Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Bragado Club's Lari Bek seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lari Bek the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bragado Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lari Bek had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 7th minute, one of Bragado Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bragado Club. Damaso Maidana made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Carmelo Admon sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Iowa FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dalmacio Iban hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Everardo Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Maidana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Everardo Lopez took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damaso Maidana. Damaso Maidana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Damaso Maidana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Rito in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes Bragado Club got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Acuña. In the 25th minute Everardo Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Maidana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Damaso Maidana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Lopez in the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Carmelo Admon made a precise shot to the right of Damaso Maidana. Bragado Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Efrain Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Efrain Cruz made a kick off. In the 55th minute Everardo Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Maidana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Cruz got free with Victorio Gaitan in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melquiades Che fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Gaitan having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play Iowa FC's Everardo Lopez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Bragado Club booed when Iowa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusebio Gorri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damaso Maidana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Gorri in the 71st minute of play forced Bragado Club's goalkeeper Damaso Maidana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Melquiades Che recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victorio Gaitan. Melquiades Che showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Efrain Cruz in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victorio Gaitan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 83rd match minute, Bragado Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Acuña to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Eusebio Gorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Maidana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bragado Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
