The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Villems in the 5th minute of play forced Granateam's goalkeeper Bernabe Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to San Pedro de Colalao getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Connor Metcalfe hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, San Pedro de Colalao's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Primo came free, but Gregor Koning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Connor Metcalfe's late challenge caught a Granateam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Connor Metcalfe helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Granateam booed when San Pedro de Colalao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Connor Metcalfe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Vargas charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo Vargas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Granateam's Gustavo Vargas got a free kick in the 17th minute. Koen Verhoeven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th match minute, San Pedro de Colalao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yamil Matheus to maneuver through the defense. When Pablo Orlanda fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granateam's protests and gave Pablo Orlanda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Pablo Orlanda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregor Koning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Orlanda in the 28th minute of the match. Celestino Hibai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39th play minutes Jan Villems shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Bernabe Osoitz and just under the crossbar into goal. Cirilo Primo took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregor Koning. Gregor Koning dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Villems to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernabe Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Quilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Villems in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Osoitz saved Granateam from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Quilo in the 55th minute of play forced Granateam's goalkeeper Bernabe Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Primo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gregor Koning came out and tried to block the shot, but Cirilo Primo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute of the match Jan Villems sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernabe Osoitz skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to San Pedro de Colalao getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Jan Villems hit a great ball. Cirilo Primo came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gregor Koning could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Granateam's zone, Mario Quilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Osoitz came out of the goal and Mario Quilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Quilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Osoitz having to interfere. Bernabe Osoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Villems went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Jan Villems received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bernabe Osoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Miro kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, San Pedro de Colalao's Jan Villems broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Tomas Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Granateam walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
