Victor Padro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Baleren having to interfere. Denis Gipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pichichi in the 10th minute of play. Denis Gipuzkoa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Pichichi went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 14th match minute, Riquelme 10 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Pirmin to maneuver through the defense. Riquelme 10's Arnulfo Baleren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Austin in the 15th minute of play. When Riquelme 10's Daniel Pichichi in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Retiro FC's goalie prevented a goal. Retiro FC's Denis Gipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pichichi in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Pichichi in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Denis Gipuzkoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 minutes, Daniel Pichichi made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Retiro FC's Denis Gipuzkoa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Riquelme 10 fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Riquelme 10's Daniel Pichichi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 34 minutes, Daniel Pichichi made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Retiro FC's Denis Gipuzkoa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Kalpanatha Varma sped through Retiro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denis Gipuzkoa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Pichichi in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Gipuzkoa saved Retiro FC from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Pichichi to make the kick off. Denis Gipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalpanatha Varma in the 51st minute of the match. Denis Gipuzkoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Pichichi in the 53rd minute. When Daniel Pichichi came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Riquelme 10 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Pichichi couldn't finish the play. Kalpanatha Varma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Victor Padro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A long shot from Santio Obana in the 83rd minute of play was well struck, but Denis Gipuzkoa made a really good save at the right post. When Riquelme 10's Daniel Pichichi in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Retiro FC's goalie prevented a goal. Riquelme 10's Cirilo Bastiaro was substituted for Daniel Pichichi. A collision led to Retiro FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Narciso Salvator hit a great ball. Gogo Austin hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 95th minute by Cirilo Bastiaro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Riquelme 10's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
