The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Hibai got free with Arnulfo Blasi in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, Tronconi FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Blasi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Vargas. After 19 minutes, Antonio Nel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tronconi FC and the Granateam players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Tronconi FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Nel. Arnulfo Blasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Koen Verhoeven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Granateam's zone, Antonio Nel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Osoitz came out of the goal and Antonio Nel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celestino Hibai scored 1-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnulfo Blasi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnulfo Blasi was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Cirilo Primo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cirilo Primo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Tronconi FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Cirilo Primo scored to the left of an out of position Arnulfo Blasi, making the score, 4-0. 43 minutes into the game, Cirilo Primo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnulfo Blasi. Cirilo Primo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Primo to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Gustavo Vargas made a precise shot to the right of Arnulfo Blasi. Tronconi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Arnulfo Blasi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Primo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Tronconi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Orlanda came free, but Arnulfo Blasi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Tronconi FC defense, Pablo Orlanda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnulfo Blasi. The Tronconi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnulfo Blasi should have stopped the shot. In the 70th minute, Celestino Hibai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Granateam fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. After 72 played minutes Granateam got a freekick which was hit by Koen Verhoeven. Arnulfo Blasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Primo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Arnulfo Blasi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Hibai in the 86th minute of play. Tronconi FC's Arnulfo Blasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Orlanda in the 94th minute of play.
