The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafael Rito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Admon succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Geronimo Burni was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Eusebio Gorri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eusebio Gorri really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 15 minutes in the game, Eusebio Gorri fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Geronimo Burni having to interfere. Iowa FC's Carmelo Admon came free and shot a quick shot against goal 22 minutes in the game, fortunately Geronimo Burni had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Gabriel Etxepare hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A collision led to Rosario AFC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Benigno Bastiaro hit a great ball. Geronimo Burni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmelo Admon went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Geronimo Burni didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Iowa FC's Eusebio Gorri shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 33 minutes into the match, Carmelo Admon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geronimo Burni. Rosario AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carmelo Admon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 41st minute, Carmelo Admon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Burni was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After 45 played minutes Rosario AFC got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Lon. In the 48th minute, Eusebio Gorri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusebio Gorri to make the kick off. Melquiades Santos hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Geronimo Burni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Gorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosario AFC's Geronimo Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Admon in the 54th minute of play. Carmelo Admon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Burni having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Eusebio Gorri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Burni was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. If Eusebio Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carmelo Admon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Geronimo Burni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geronimo Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Admon, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. A collision led to Rosario AFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Americo Lobo hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Carmelo Admon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geronimo Burni was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. When Iowa FC's Eusebio Gorri in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rosario AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Geronimo Burni came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Iowa FC's Eusebio Gorri. But to his dismay, Eusebio Gorri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario AFC's zone, Carmelo Admon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Burni came out of the goal and Carmelo Admon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusebio Gorri in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geronimo Burni saved Rosario AFC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Rafael Rito sped through Rosario AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geronimo Burni. If Carmelo Admon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Iowa FC were the better team. Iowa FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
