The corner went over the outstretched arms of Granateam's goalie and right to Ezequiel Ubarna. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Granateam's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Daniel Pichichi in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Arnulfo Baleren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celestino Hibai in the 53rd minute. Bernabe Osoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalpanatha Varma, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The audience was convinced that Daniel Pichichi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernabe Osoitz was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Luis Oskarbi struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Bernabe Osoitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riquelme 10. Granateam's Bernabe Osoitz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the game, Kalpanatha Varma cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bernabe Osoitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Daniel Pichichi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Pichichi in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Osoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernabe Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalpanatha Varma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Pichichi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernabe Osoitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. When Daniel Pichichi fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riquelme 10's protests and gave Daniel Pichichi a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Pichichi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Kalpanatha Varma might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernabe Osoitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kalpanatha Varma ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Granateam booed when Riquelme 10 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalpanatha Varma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Pichichi in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernabe Osoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Riquelme 10 had played much better football throughout.
