Spectators: 7505 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gogo Austin started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Victor Padro sped through Granateam's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernabe Osoitz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebio Stephen during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Retiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Stephen. When Narciso Salvator fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Retiro FC's protests and gave Narciso Salvator a yellow card for diving instead. Retiro FC's Denis Gipuzkoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Retiro FC from getting a goal against them. Retiro FC's Denis Gipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Primo in the 16th minute of play. Granateam's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cirilo Primo in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Cirilo Primo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granateam's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Primo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Gipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Granateam's Koen Verhoeven got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamin Elia lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Retiro FC! When the match had been going on for 25 minutes, Granateam's Cirilo Primo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Denis Gipuzkoa. 29 minutes into the match, Retiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Orlanda came free, but Denis Gipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Granateam's Cirilo Primo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Cirilo Primo put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Denis Gipuzkoa. If Cirilo Primo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Denis Gipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Primo in the 38th minute of play. Denis Gipuzkoa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Granateam's Cirilo Primo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 46th minute, Cirilo Primo made a precise shot to the right of Denis Gipuzkoa. Retiro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cirilo Primo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alfredo Gaztea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cirilo Primo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denis Gipuzkoa having to make a save. Denis Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Gaztea, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 67 minutes, Cirilo Primo made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Retiro FC's Denis Gipuzkoa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cirilo Primo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Gaztea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denis Gipuzkoa having to make a save. In the 76th minute, Cirilo Primo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, David Gerazan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernabe Osoitz, 7-2. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 8-2 when Cirilo Primo sped through Retiro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Denis Gipuzkoa. Celestino Hibai struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Denis Gipuzkoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granateam. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Granateam had played much better football throughout.
