Fabio Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Amaná FC booed when CSD Almafuerte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Ganix didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nicanor Peruanton came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Amaná FC fans jumped to their feet. Nicanor Mitxel's late challenge caught a CSD Almafuerte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Mitxel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Nicanor Mitxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Gutierrez shot from long distance in the 94th minute, but Gilberto Amor was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. A collision led to Amaná FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Nicanor Mitxel hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Amaná FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Crispo came free, but Gilberto Amor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amaná FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
