After a defensive mix-up in CSD Almafuerte's zone, Amado Pere stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Romildo came out of the goal and Amado Pere tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the game, river FC's Fernan Henry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isidro Romildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Christian Florinio charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Florinio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CSD Almafuerte getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Christian Florinio hit a great ball. After 13 played minutes CSD Almafuerte got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Crispo. Ciriaco Gutierrez's late challenge caught a river FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Gutierrez helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CSD Almafuerte! In the 21st match minute, CSD Almafuerte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Crispo to maneuver through the defense. Fernan Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azeari Monzon kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Fernan Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. river FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernan Henry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidro Romildo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernan Henry's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, CSD Almafuerte's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Pere came free, but Isidro Romildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, river FC's Fernan Henry made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidro Romildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, river FC's Fernan Henry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidro Romildo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Nestor Hanot notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of CSD Almafuerte's Isidro Romildo. Isidro Romildo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alejandro Crispo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Cândea having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alejandro Crispo made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Fernan Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot. river FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Henry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Romildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Romildo came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by river FC's Fernan Henry. But to his dismay, Fernan Henry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 66 minutes into the game, Nestor Hanot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Isidro Romildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. CSD Almafuerte's Isidro Romildo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save CSD Almafuerte from getting a goal against them. Fernan Henry who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Isidro Romildo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 75th minute Fabio Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionel Cândea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Hanot in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isidro Romildo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Isidro Romildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amado Pere in the 82nd minute. If Fabio Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Fernan Henry sped through CSD Almafuerte's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Isidro Romildo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernan Henry got free with Isidro Romildo in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The CSD Almafuerte fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. river FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
