Marcus Kruse scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Amor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Justino Afonso made in the 11th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fernando Marin. Marcus Kruse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilberto Amor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. If Nicanor Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Garci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Urtun in the 24th minute of play. If Emilio Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Emilio Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SEGUNDEAME CON LA GORDA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute Aquiles Urtun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Garci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Marcus Kruse notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Amaná FC's Gilberto Amor. Gilberto Amor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilio Garcia got free with Gilberto Amor in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcus Kruse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The long shot by Natalio Jatsu in the 52nd minute really tested Isidoro Garci's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Nicanor Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SEGUNDEAME CON LA GORDA's Emilio Garcia in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Amaná FC's zone, Marcus Kruse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Amor came out of the goal and Marcus Kruse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SEGUNDEAME CON LA GORDA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
