If Marcus Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Milio Ortega didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Garcia went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute Sixto Gilabert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Garci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Iturri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Garci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Hanni in the 30th minute of play. Alonzo Iturri struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Isidoro Garci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Echegoyen FC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Garcia was the one to do the kick off. Echegoyen FC's Milio Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Garcia in the 51st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Echegoyen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Garcia came free, but Milio Ortega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcus Kruse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milio Ortega having to interfere. Emilio Garcia ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcus Kruse scored 2-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Milio Ortega, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Jose Muc in the 76th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Echegoyen FC's Adan Mateo. Emilio Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marcus Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Alonzo Iturri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Garci was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SEGUNDEAME CON LA GORDA had won after a very even match.
