With his leg Ionel Cândea managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Desacataos's Eleuterio Urko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Urko got free with Ionel Cândea in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th match minute, river FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Pere to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rdth minute of the game Maximino Calixto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but river FC's Ionel Cândea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 74 in the game by Fernan Henry from a close distance when the talented Alfredo Olave managed to make a qualified save. Desacataos's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Maximino Calixto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desacataos's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Calixto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionel Cândea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ionel Cândea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkadiusz Marek, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
