Insomio FC's Cristobal Eladio got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Rodrigo Palacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Doppa Fc's zone, Conrado Rico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelo Neron came out of the goal and Conrado Rico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damaso Telesforo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Fabian Londoño had several of the Insomio FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Paulino Guib as he didn't even see the shot coming. 38 minutes into the match, Insomio FC's goalkeeper Paulino Guib had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Londoño. Paulino Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Londoño in the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Cristobal Eladio notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Doppa Fc's Angelo Neron. Angelo Neron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 56 minutes of play, Doppa Fc's Fabian Londoño made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulino Guib was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute Cristobal Eladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Neron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Guib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Londoño, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Paulino Guib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Londoño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Rico got free with Angelo Neron in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Doppa Fc fans cheered their team off the field, for while Insomio FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
