After a rather tough play, AMARGOS's Ovidio Ermengol got a free kick in the 4th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Gaztea Valensuela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Urtungo. AMARGOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gaztea Valensuela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute Florencio Montxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Urtungo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romulo Avellaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Chmelyk having to interfere. Generoso Eder's late challenge caught a AMARGOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Generoso Eder helped the player get up and apologised. 22 minutes into the game, Celedonio Maria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tadeusz Chmelyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tadeusz Chmelyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Avellaneda in the 27th minute of the match. Florencio Montxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaztea Valensuela struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Epifanio Urtungo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL. In the 35th minute, Gaztea Valensuela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in AMARGOS's zone, Isidro Eztebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Urtungo came out of the goal and Isidro Eztebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to AMARGOS getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Romulo Avellaneda hit a great ball. Gaztea Valensuela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The AMARGOS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaztea Valensuela to make the kick off. AMARGOS's Epifanio Urtungo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save AMARGOS from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute of the match C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL got a corner. AMARGOS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Keith Caputo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Florencio Montxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. S. y Deportivo TANDIL. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Avellaneda in the 68th minute of play forced C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL's goalkeeper Tadeusz Chmelyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Isidro Eztebe came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Eztebe couldn't finish the play. C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL's Tadeusz Chmelyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Avellaneda in the 75th minute of play. Generoso Eder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL made a substitution. Rafael Ioritz replaced Florencio Montxo. In the 81st minute, C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL's Rafael Ioritz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Epifanio Urtungo. Epifanio Urtungo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind AMARGOS's goalkeeper Epifanio Urtungo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Rafael Ioritz made a precise shot to the right of Epifanio Urtungo. AMARGOS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Rafael Ioritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Urtungo having to interfere. If Gaztea Valensuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C. S. y Deportivo TANDIL's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
