Caravaneta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentin Abadie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Arnulfo Distiratsu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 狄宁朋 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. If Zacarias Fe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gaston Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Gonza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Golden Team were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernan Taurino was the one to do the kick off. Gaston Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yandi Sarbini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernan Taurino in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaston Abancens saved Caravaneta FC from getting behind. In the 56thth minute of the game Fernan Taurino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caravaneta FC's Gaston Abancens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Caravaneta FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bjorn Houtman hit a great ball. Aurelio Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Gaston Abancens made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Silvano Gonza sent off a good shot on target. 狄宁朋 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Fe in the 78th minute of the match. Aurelio Berbiz hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81stth minute of the game Arnulfo Distiratsu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Golden Team's 狄宁朋 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Golden Team's Fernan Taurino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gaston Abancens. Gaston Abancens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Caravaneta FC's Gaston Abancens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Taurino in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to Caravaneta FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Pablo Cordarrel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Abadie in the 87th minute of play forced Caravaneta FC's goalkeeper Gaston Abancens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yandi Sarbini took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaston Abancens. Gaston Abancens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 92 minutes into the match, Caravaneta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Abadie came free, but Gaston Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernan Taurino got free with Gaston Abancens in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Golden Team getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Aurelio Berbiz hit a great ball. When the match was over Golden Team could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caravaneta FC throughout the match.
