Silvano Gonza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Fulgencio Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Descado's Fulgencio Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Indar in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Fernan Taurino notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Descado's Fulgencio Lano. Fulgencio Lano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Alfredo Indar got free in front of the goal in the 13th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Fulgencio Lano was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fernan Taurino scored 2-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulgencio Lano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes into the game, Ulises Gaskon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Descado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Team the free kick. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Descado! Fulgencio Lano had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Jimeno Mannie's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Fulgencio Lano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 28th minute, Golden Team's Silvano Gonza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Descado's zone, Semen Mironenko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Lano came out of the goal and Semen Mironenko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Jimeno Mannie dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fulgencio Lano, 4-0. Descado's Fulgencio Lano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Descado from getting a goal against them. After 41 played minutes Golden Team got a freekick which was hit by Yandi Sarbini. Alfredo Indar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fulgencio Lano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Silvano Gonza made a precise shot to the right of Fulgencio Lano. Descado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernan Ireno to strike the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Lano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Nevada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Descado's Tadeo Tximitx got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 57th minute of the match Jimeno Mannie sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulgencio Lano skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Nevada in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Lano saved Descado from getting behind. 63 minutes into the match, Descado's goal looked a bit too open when Semen Mironenko came free, but Fulgencio Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Mathias Halfmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fulgencio Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Indar in the 70th minute of the match. A collision led to Descado getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Evert Gråberg hit a great ball.
